Walk For Family Safety~2004

In October, HUGS II and the Easton Family Violence Task Force held their 6th annual Walk For Family Safety. The walk was a huge success--we raised over $21,000! Thanks to everyone who participated.

Congratulations to the following trophy winners...

Top three individuals:

1st place: Harriet Goldstein - Raised $1165
2nd place (tied): Betsy Hocking - Raised $470
2nd place (tied): Gabriel Sciabarrasi - Raised $470
3rd place: Christine Zachem - Raised $356

Top three teams:

1st place: Covenant Congregational Men's Group - Raised $1396
2nd place: McSherry Family - Raised $1126
3rd place: EJHS Peer Assistance Leaders - Raised $569

Fundraisers~2004

On Sunday, September 19th, the Shangri-La Salon and Day Spa in Easton hosted a charity day of beauty to benefit HUGS. The staff offered men's and women's haircuts, mini-facials, and other services. The event, which ran from 12-4pm, raised over $4000. All proceeds went to HUGS II.

The raffle prize winners at the Holiday Festival were:

We raised $1210 from this raffle! Thanks to everyone who bought tickets or donated items.

Annual Yard Sale~2004

The yard sale, which was held on May 8th, raised $676.

Donations~2004

On November 29th, HUGS II President, Officer Denise Papagno, presented a check for $8,750 to the Easton Recreation Commission (ERC). This brings the total to $12,000 that HUGS has donated to the ERC this year for the after school program at the EJHS.
