Walk For Family Safety~1999
HUGS II and the Easton Family Violence Task Force held their 1st annual Walk For Family Safety on October 16, 1999. The fundraiser was a huge success. With the collaborative efforts of all the individual and corporate sponsors, they exceeded their goal of $10,000 and raised a total of $13,000.
The individuals who raised the most money were awarded trophies:
1st place: Noreen
Faradie - Raised $695
2nd place: Patty Webster - Raised $605
3rd place: Loretta Garofano - Raised $415
The top three teams were also awarded trophies.
1st place: Coldwell
Banker (Hunneman Papagno Team) - Raised $1027
2nd place: Easton Jaycees - Raised $670
3rd place: Easton Women of Today - Raised $515

Donations~1999
This December, HUGS presented a check for $6,500 to the Easton Family Violence Task Force for the EJHS after school program and late bus.
