History of the Clothesline Project:

In 1990, the members of Cape Cod Women's Agenda started the original Clothesline Project. Their first display, with thirty-one shirts, sparked interest in surrounding communities and, over time, the Clothesline Project evolved into an organization with over 300 National and International chapters and an estimated 35,000 shirts.
